Responsibilities:
The RN Clinical Director provides overall direction and clinical management for home care services, compliant with all regulatory state and/or federal requirements. In addition, the Clinical Director also supports the agency business plan.

Additional responsibilities:
  • Takes/Reviews/Converts home care referrals and works with office staff to ensure that cases are appropriately authorized for services.
  • Conducts/Supervises client care including assessment, recertification, care plan development, coordination of services, discharge planning and periodic evaluation of client care.
  • Takes, documents, and supports the resolution of complaints.
  • Oversees Home Health Aide requirements for in-service and competency.
  • Partners with the Branch Director in the Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
  • Conducts recertification, supervisory and other home visits.
  • Supports office staff with recruitment, new hire processing, and scheduling issues.
  • Works with office staff to facilitate a recruitment program for staff for growth and adequate coverage of existing cases.
  • Supports and exemplifies AWESome company initiatives.

Specific requirements:
  • Current unencumbered RN License in Florida
  • 3 years of current nursing experience as an RN
  • 1+ years of experience in home health care preferred
  • Previous management / supervisory experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of home health care regulations preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
