This contract position offers a consistent weekday schedule—7:30am to 3:45pm, with a lunch break—allowing for work-life balance during the school year.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will focus on the well-being of students, including up to thirteen who require specialized medical attention. With the support of an experienced nursing staff, you'll have the resources needed to address the needs of up to six medically fragile students at any given time, while responding promptly to emergencies and contributing to a safe, welcoming environment.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Active Illinois RN license required
Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program preferred
Proficient in crisis response and emergency medical care
Skilled in medical procedures such as g-tube feedings
Deep understanding of care protocols for medically fragile students
