3 Weeks to a New Career!
In the CNA Hybrid Training Program, you will participate in an intensive training program that combines online classroom instruction and onsite clinical training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). You will learn the skills and knowledge necessary to provide basic care to our residents, including personal care, vital signs, and medication administration. Our comprehensive training program includes both theoretical and practical components, providing you with the foundation you need to succeed in this role. Upon completion of this program, you will be hired at Elcor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as a Full or Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant!

Responsibilities:

Participate in an intensive 3 week CNA Hybrid Training Program
Complete online classroom instruction and onsite clinical training under the supervision of experienced healthcare professionals
Develop skills and knowledge necessary to provide basic care to residents
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service to staff, residents, and families
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of resident care and activities
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment

You will need Wi-Fi, and a Laptop/Computer/Smartphone/Tablet to complete online course work and watch CNA Training videos. You will be required to attend skills and clinical days.

Schedule:

Week #1 - Online session begins
Week #2 - Skills days
Week #3 - Clinical Days + NYS CNA Exam with Prometric (One Day)

Requirements:

Pass Prometric Reading Assessment (80% or higher)
Pass all quizzes and final exam (90% or higher)
Reliable Transportation
Submit Health Records: 2 MMRS & Flu vaccine
Be present and punctual for all classes, labs, and clinicals
Notify instructor of difficulties understanding curriculum
Conduct oneself in a responsible and professional manner
Notify instructor of unavoidable absences or tardiness
Dress appropriately for classes, labs and clinicals
Notify instructor of personal contact information changes
