CNA Per Diem

JOB SUMMARY: The C.N.A. provides personal care to residents under the supervision of the licensed nursing personnel. Personal care activities include bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, ambulation, ensuring fluids and foods are offered throughout the shift. Additionally, the C.N.A. records information regarding the residents’ activities of daily living. The C.N.A. performs vital signs and weighs residents as directed by the licensed nurse. The C.N.A. is responsible for helping to maintain a clean unit. Responsible for helping to make the residents and their families feel care for and appreciated.

Education:

High School Diploma/GED Equivalent

Or

Completion of C.N.A program from educational institute

Experience:

One year experience in patient /resident care is preferred

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:

Current C.N.A. License

Current Basic Life Support certification 

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Positive customer service skills
