Registered Nurse | Post Anesthesia Care Unit

In the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at the St. Cloud Hospital, you will work with patients of all ages before and after surgeries. RNs may work in the pre-op area ensuring a patient is prepped for surgery and safe to go to the operating room. After surgery, the RN will work with surgeons and anesthesiologists as the patient wakes up to ensure they are stable before being discharged or brought back to their hospital room. In this fast-paced environment you will need to think on your feet along with being flexible and adaptable.

Schedule

  • Part-time | 48 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud Hospital 
  • Nights | 6:30pm-7am | Monday-Thursday | Occasional holidays

     

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay based on experience and degree
    • Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $42.86 per hour
    • Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $44.34 per hour
    • Master’s in nursing starting at $45.82 per hour
    • Pay range: $42.86 - $71.51 per hour
  • Earn extra pay for working evening/night/weekend shifts

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a nursing program and current RN licensure in MN required
  • BSN required within three years of hire
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within 12 months of hire
  • Previous experience in ICU, CCU, or PACU settings preferred
  • Critical care experience in Hemodynamic monitoring and Basic EKG interpretation preferred

You must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the St. Cloud Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it with 120 days of employment.
