- Maintain current knowledge of IR, Neuro IR, and Cardiac trends and best practices, including radiation safety standards, to enhance clinical competence. Provide leadership by establishing priorities, coordinating patient flow, and guiding nursing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide quality nursing care to the patients in the Radiology Procedural Area.
- Clinical Procedural Nurse 3, is an experienced Registered Nurse, who, independently is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of assigned patients.
- Involved with service line metrics, action plans, and growth. Mostly direct patient facing with periodic non-patient facing responsibilities such as making of nursing/tech assignments, giving day-required directions, ensures the nursing/tech process by other team members is aligned, and works with the Tech Lead to manage resources.
Required
- 5 years of recent acute care Nursing experience
- Experience with sterile technique and circulating in a procedural setting.
- Experience with moderate sedation administration and monitoring, strongly preferred
- Critical Care (ICU, ED, CCU) or procedural area care (IR, Neuro IR, Cath Lab, EP Lab)
- Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, upon hire
