This contract opportunity places a caring and organized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a school setting near Cicero, NY, supporting students' health and wellbeing. Working within a dedicated health room, youll play a vital role in providing medical care and supporting the overall safety of students throughout the school day.

This position runs from July 6th to August 14th, with consistent, weekday hoursMonday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:15 pm.

Key Qualifications:

Current NY state licensure as an LPN
Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
Ability to respond with confidence to a variety of student health needs
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff and families
Detail-oriented approach to health documentation

Main Responsibilities:

Deliver routine and emergency nursing care to students across assigned grade levels
Monitor and manage chronic health conditions, administer medications, and respond to health room needs
Maintain accurate and confidential health records in line with state and school guidelines
Work closely with teachers and administrators to ensure a safe and healthy school environment
Serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff and parents on common health issues and preventive care
