A respected post-acute and rehabilitation center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its clinical leadership team. This position is ideal for a nurse leader who excels in quality improvement, regulatory readiness, clinical oversight, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The successful candidate will help drive operational excellence while promoting a culture of accountability, resident-centered care, and continuous improvement.

Primary Areas of Responsibility

  • Partner with nursing leadership to support day-to-day clinical operations

  • Monitor quality indicators and identify opportunities for performance improvement

  • Lead investigations related to incidents, accidents, and resident concerns

  • Review clinical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance

  • Support facility-wide preparedness for state and federal surveys

  • Assist with implementation and monitoring of quality assurance initiatives

  • Mentor and coach nursing staff to promote best practices and professional growth

  • Collaborate with department leaders to address clinical and operational challenges

  • Track trends and develop action plans to improve outcomes and reduce risk

Qualifications

  • Active New York State Registered Nurse license

  • Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality measures

  • Experience with audits, investigations, and performance improvement initiatives

  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
