School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Naperville, Illinois

For 12 weeks, beginning October 26, 2026 and extending through January 22, 2027, youll play a crucial role in maintaining student health and well-being during regular school hours (7:00 AM to 2:30 PM). At least 1 year of prior experience in a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing servicesincluding first aid, emergency care, and illness managementto high school students and school staff
Administer medication, maintain appropriate documentation, and securely store all medications
Support the Certified School Nurse with wellness programs, and contribute to special district projects such as care plan collection for allergies, asthma, and seizures
Assist in maintaining an efficient, organized health office alongside health aides
Monitor building AEDs and report maintenance needs
Maintain accurate records for state-mandated requirements (immunizations, physical exams, medical conditions, and archiving)
Serve as a mandated reporter, conducting assessments and making referrals for suspected abuse or neglect
