Description Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for either a motivated Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to work with our Electrophysiology team. This position supports the Electrophysiology team through a hybrid scope of outpatient and inpatient care, however a majority of the position will be outpatient. Expected clinic volume varies, with approximately 12 to 15 patients per full clinic day. Additional responsibilities include inbox management and rotating inpatient rounding coverage. Schedule: Monday through Friday coverage with available shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Flexible scheduling options, including 10-hour shifts, may be available. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend call responsibilities include coverage from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Essential Functions: Demonstrates clinical expertise and expanded knowledge through patient care activities which may include diagnosis and management of a wide range of health problems.
