Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4
Patient population includes post open heart (CABG), post PCI, arrythmia issues, administration of cardiac drips (all rooms have bedside monitors)

Education

Nursing Diploma (nursing) required Or
Associate's Degree Nursing required Or
Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Experience

1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program is required
2+ years of nursing experience is preferred

Licenses and Certifications

RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And
NIHSS- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 90 days required And
