Who You Are:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
Prior school nursing experience required
Demonstrated expertise in tracheostomy care, urinary catheterization, ventilator management, and using/lifting patients as needed
Ability to provide compassionate, individualized care for a high school quadriplegic male student using a sip/puff wheelchair
Previous critical care background preferred
Hands-on experience with medical equipment in school or similar environments
No LPNs; RN candidates only

Your Responsibilities:

Offer one-on-one nursing care during school hours (7AM-2:30PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Perform skilled procedures including trach care, urinary catheterization, and ventilator management
Monitor students health status and provide emergency support as needed
Communicate closely with educators, healthcare professionals, and students caregivers
