School Nurse Registered Nurse Needed

We're seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one care for a high school student in Houston, TX. This rewarding school-based position offers a consistent daytime schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a student's daily success.

Position Details:

  • Full-time | Approximately 40 hours per week
  • Schedule: 6:45 AM 3:45 PM
  • 1:1 assignment with a male high school sophomore
  • Bus riding required to and from school
  • Remain with the student throughout the school day, providing care and monitoring as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tube feedings and suctioning as needed
  • Monitor oxygen levels and respond appropriately
  • Ride the bus with the student to and from school
  • Stay present in the classroom, monitoring the student's condition and intervening only when necessary
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure the student's safety and access to learning
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow the student's individualized care plan

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas RN license
  • Experience with tube feedings, suctioning, and oxygen monitoring preferred
  • Pediatric or school-based nursing experience is a plus
  • Compassionate, dependable, and able to work independently in a school environment
