Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. The Medical Surgical Unit delivers individualized, comprehensive, culturally sensitive, and family-oriented care in a multi-disciplinary approach to health and wellness. Services provided by the Medical Care Team include general adult and adolescent medical and surgical care including gynecologic, oncology, mastectomy, minor orthopedics and simple fractures. The Medical Surgical Unit also provides post-delivery support to our obstetric population.

You would provide nursing services through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care in the Medical Surgical Unit. You would also function as an associate to a Charge Nurse, and eventually assume Charge Nurse responsibilities.
