School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Piscataway, New Jersey

Key Qualifications:

• Active State of New Jersey RN or CSN license (required)
• Strong comfort level working independently as the sole nurse in a school building
• Prior experience as a school nurse preferred
• Familiarity with Genesis charting system is a bonus
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Friendly, patient, and adaptable in fast-paced settings

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide daily health services, first aid, and acute care to students and staff
• Oversee and administer prescribed medications following school policies
• Manage health records and documentation using the Genesis system
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff on student health needs
• Maintain a safe and confidential health room environment
• Support school wellness initiatives and respond to health emergencies when needed
