Key Qualifications:

Current RN license in New Jersey, unencumbered
Minimum of one year pediatric nursing experience required
Prior background in school nursing, early childhood, or medically fragile pediatric care preferred
Proficient in NG-tube management (note: not a G-tube)
Comfortable with lifting and safely transferring a non-ambulatory child weighing approximately 24 lbs
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and transportation staff
CPR/AED certification up to date

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care to the assigned student during school hours (8:00am3:00pm), June 1 June 26, 2026
Manage NG-tube care and other medical needs as outlined in the students care plan
Ensure safe transportation by providing continuous oversight and nursing support during bussing
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all care provided
Act as a health advocate within the classroom and during transitions throughout the school day
Respond promptly and calmly to any health emergencies
