You will work closely with team members from the Women’s Center, Radiology, High-Risk Breast Program, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Surgery and provide overall support of our Breast Program standards and initiatives. About the Opportunity
Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Women’s Centers’ Oncology team on the island of O‘ahu, who enjoys working with others and believe in warm, compassionate health care.
What You’ll Do:
· Have an integral role in management and follow-up care for patients that undergo breast biopsy, ensuring patients receive their results and appropriate referrals are initiated when needed
· Direct patient care that includes evaluation, treatment, and technical procedures to a specific group of patients
· Provide health education, referrals to other disciplines, and consultation with other allied health personnel
· Have oversight and care for patients identified as high-risk for the development of breast cancer by providing referrals to appropriate health care providers in collaboration with the patient’s primary care provider
