Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Silverdale, WA

Step into a rewarding role supporting secondary school students as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, contract opportunity centers on providing compassionate onsite care to a medically fragile student and may include both direct nursing support and paraprofessional assistance in a specialized classroom. The position encompasses 37.5 hours per week and spans the entire school year, from August through June.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized nursing care to a medically fragile student within a secondary school setting.
  • Provide health monitoring, medication administration, and emergency care as required.
  • Support the safe transportation of the student, ensuring their needs are met during transit.
  • Work collaboratively with educators and paraprofessionals to promote a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in the medically fragile classroom as a paraprofessional, offering additional classroom support when needed.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with school staff and guardians.

  • Current and active LPN license for Washington State.
