American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position in Pittsfield, MA, requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg and telemetry experience with an active MA RN license in hand. Job details: - 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM - Inpatient Med/Surg unit with 20–34 beds depending on unit - Typical patient ratio of 1:6 - Floating to any Med/Surg unit is required - Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as needed - No on-call responsibilities - Meditech Expanse EMR experience highly preferred - Block scheduling is not available for this assignment Requirements: - Active MA RN license must be in hand prior to consideration - Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be in hand — facility will not pend certifications - Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg experience required - Telemetry experience required - Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required - Willingness to float to any Med/Surg unit required - Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment - 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required - Med/Surg skills checklist current within 1 year required Additional information: - Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position - All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application — no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, and requests made after an offer is extended may result in a rescinded offer - Non-billable orientation of 8 hours
