American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with a Massachusetts license willing to float to PCU as needed. Job details: - 20-bed ICU unit setting - Patient ratio of 1:2 - 12-hour day shifts on a 36 or 48 hour per week schedule - Float to PCU as needed - Weekend and holiday coverage as needed - Block scheduling is not available for this position Requirements: - Active Massachusetts RN license required in-hand prior to start, with no exceptions - Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required - Minimum 2 years of current Critical Care experience required - Required experience with ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring - Willingness to float to PCU is required - Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred - TNCC certification preferred - BSN preferred - Current Critical Care skills checklist (within 1 year) required for consideration - One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required for consideration - Candidate must have their own vehicle Additional information: - Personal scrubs of any color are permitted - All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application, as scheduling requests cannot be accommodated after offer or interview - Permanent address must be included with candidate profile
