  • Hillcrest Hospital Henryetta is a 30-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including cardiology, emergency, women’s services, general surgery, rehabilitation, withdrawal stabilization and surgery. 

The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. He/she is also responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care of critically ill patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred upon hire, if not must obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • CNOR.

Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Department Description The Perianesthesia Care Units at Bayfront Medical Center is composed of Pre-operative (preop), PACU phase I, PACU phase II, and extended care. The team of perianesthesia specialty nurses provides dynamic, compassionate care for a wide variety of surgical patients for adults and adolescents (13 and up) throughout the ambulatory care setting from admission to discharge. In preparing patients for surgery, we assure their readiness and provide preoperative teaching for patients and their families. The priority postoperatively is to physiologically stabilize patients, provide innovative pain management strategies, and integrate family-centered care. Our postoperative area cares for patients recovering from a wide variety of surgeries and procedures including, but not limited to general surgery, ophthalmology, GYN, GU, OHNS, robotics, and plastic surgery. An interdisciplinary team of nurses, surgeons, specialty physicians and anesthesiologists work to recover the patient from surgery. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Recent 2 years, within the last 5 years of adult PACU experience in an outpatient ambulatory surgery center. One year of adult Critical Care experience as an RN This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
