Job Description

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a Full-Time, district-wide, (10-month) Registered Professional Nurse (School) starting with the 2026/2027 school year. This position offers a competitive pay and full benefits. This position involves responsibility for giving care to students and for performing related nursing services such as pupil health screening and communicable disease control. Interested applicants must have good knowledge of nursing principles and techniques; working knowledge of dietetics, sanitation and personal hygiene; good observation; mental alertness; firmness; initiative and more.

Typical work may include but is not limited to the following:
  • Administer first aid and emergency treatment to students and employees
  • Prepare and maintain health records for school authorities
  • Arranges to transport sick or injured students/employees in cases of emergency
  • Inspects buildings and grounds and reports on general safety and sanitation
  • Orders, inventories and oversees the storage of first aid and health-related supplies and equipment.
  • Related work as required.
