Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing services to students in both school health offices.
Support student health and wellness, managing acute and chronic conditions with diligence and care.
Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing nursing expertise for special needs students.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
Maintain meticulous documentation and compliance with school health policies.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Current Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) as a Certified School Nurse (required—other RN or LPN credentials will not be considered).
School nursing experience preferred—especially in both elementary and high school settings.
Ability to work the school-scheduled hours consistently for the duration of the assignment.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, student-centered approach.
