The Role

As a Registered Nurse in UVA Health’s Outpatient Surgery Centers, you will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care across a variety of surgical specialties in a focused outpatient environment. This role balances efficiency with clinical rigor and allows nurses to deliver high-quality care in settings intentionally designed for safety, flow, and patient experience.

In this role, you will:

Deliver perioperative nursing care including preoperative preparation, intraoperative support, and postoperative recovery

Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and fellow nurses to ensure safe and seamless procedures

Apply evidence-based practice and standardized protocols to support patient safety and optimal outcomes

Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory and professional standards

Contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

Monday through Friday schedule with no nights, weekends or holidays and minimal call with incentive pay
