American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring recent L&D or OR circulator experience and EPIC proficiency. Job details: - Labor and Delivery department with 9 labor rooms, 2 operating and recovery rooms, and 5 triage rooms - High-volume unit with approximately 3,000 deliveries per year - 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7:30a, on a 36-hour weekly schedule - Every other weekend and every other holiday required - EPIC experience required Requirements: - Active MA RN license required - Current BLS and NRP certifications required, with NRP not expiring during the assignment - Minimum 2 recent years of L&D RN experience or OR circulator experience required - CNM experience will not be considered in lieu of required experience - Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry strips - Must pass a telemetry test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher - Evidence of completed Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course required, AWHONN preferred - High-risk obstetrics experience preferred - Dysrhythmia/Telemetry interpretation course preferred - Previous travel nursing experience required - EPIC EMR experience required Additional information: - Provide direct patient care in a high-volume labor and delivery unit - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate - Recruiters recommend candidates view the unit orientation video prior to consideration
