This role centers on delivering comprehensive nursing support across multiple elementary school sites.

In this position, your weekdays will be varied and engaging as you travel between campuses, ensuring the best care for students needing regular medical attention—including those with diabetes—and handling student incident reports. This role offers a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, and all travel between locations will be reimbursed at the IRS mileage rate.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
Reliable transportation required for traveling between sites
Confident with student health assessments, diabetic care, and medication administration
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct routine visits across assigned elementary school sites
Support and collaborate with onsite LVNs
Administer care to students as needed, including diabetic management
Document and respond to student incidents and health concerns
Maintain health records according to school policies
Foster a safe, inclusive, and healthy environment for all students
