Director of Nursing Education

$4,502 / week

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of all nursing educational programs, including nursing orientation programs, and retention strategies at Jacobi.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: In addition to the Corporate Job Description Qualifications, the following is also required: 1. Licensed and currently registered as a practice as a professional nurse in New York State, and 2. Master's Degree in nursing administration or an equivalent field, from an accredited college or university and a minimum of (4) years of high level, responsible experience in nursing administration (3) years of which shall have been in a hospital; or a satisfactory equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
