Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and patient care coordination
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Foster a culture of excellence, promoting professionalism, teamwork, and open communication among staff members
Evaluate and improve nursing care practices, ensuring high-quality services and patient outcomes
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care, services, and programs
Mentor and coach nursing staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and job satisfaction
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve patient care and satisfaction
Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control
Represent the organization in local, state, and national healthcare associations and committees

Requirements:

Master's degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in nursing administration, preferably in a long-term care setting
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
