Mountain View Rehabilitation and Senior Living Center, a premier residential, long-term, rehabilitation, and subacute care provider, is seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Director of Dementia Unit to lead our dedicated team in providing exceptional care to our residents.

About the Role:

As the RN Director of Dementia Unit, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our state-of-the-art dementia unit, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and attention. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor resident progress, and provide guidance and support to direct care staff.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dementia unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies

• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents with dementia, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

• Provide guidance and support to direct care staff, including licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants, and other caregivers

• Monitor resident progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall care experience for our residents

• Collaborate with our consulting team to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices

• Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure a high-performing team

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Pennsylvania
