Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Midwife program, required
Valid license as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Midwife in the State of Colorado, required
Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), DEA, NRP, ACNM certifications, required
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNM in a full scope practice (please, no new graduates)

About the Practice Currently, we are a group of six certified nurse midwives ( 5.25 FTE). Our practice is growing and we are seeking another midwife to join our group. Ideally, this would be a 1.0 FTE position. We see patients in two office locations (Wilmette and Glenview) and attend births at North Shore Hospital in Evanston. The hospital environment is very supportive and has had a strong midwifery presence for over thirty years. We are dedicated advocates of physiological birth for both low-risk and high-risk patients. We have a special focus on VBAC deliveries (success rate of 92% in 2022) and unmedicated birth (63% in 2022). We have a strong emphasis on promoting vaginal birth with an overall Cesarean Delivery Rate of 7% in 2022. We are typically awarded the ACNM Triple Aim Award based on benchmarking statistics every year. We have collaborative relationships with our physician colleagues.
