Registered Nurse School Setting - New Berlin, WI

This opportunity is based at a single school site near New Berlin, WI, with a focus on caring for students in a health room setting. You'll provide direct care, support wellness initiatives, and manage both routine and urgent student health needs. This role is scheduled at 37.5 hours per week, with an assignment running from ASAP through June 15, 2027.

Qualifications:

• Current Wisconsin RN License
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
• CPR and AED certification
• At least one year of pediatric experience preferred
• Recent RN experience within the past two years, or completion of a refresher course in the last 12 months
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed for student care
• Possession of a valid Wisconsin drivers license

Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate nursing care for students in the health room, focusing on ages typically found in K-12 settings
• Assess, triage, and respond to students health concerns or emergencies
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with school policies
• Maintain accurate health records and communications with parents and staff
• Educate students and staff about health practices and preventative care measures
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment
