Step into a rewarding contract role where your nursing expertise has a lasting impact on a young students daily school experience. This opportunity places you in a supportive educational setting near Milwaukee, WI, where youll provide essential 1:1 medical care as either an RN or LPN at a single school site. With assignments starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 2027, youll be a crucial lifeline during the school year, working closely with your assigned student to ensure their safety and success.

Qualifications:

  • Active Wisconsin RN or LPN License required
  • Current CPR and AED certification
  • At least one year of pediatric experience strongly preferred
  • Must have worked as an RN or LPN within the past two years, or completed a refresher course within the last year
  • Comfortable or certified working with ventilator/tracheostomy care
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Valid Wisconsin drivers license

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dedicated 1:1 nursing care for a student within their school setting
  • Provide support for students with complex medical needs, including Vent/Trach if necessary
  • Implement and monitor individualized healthcare plans
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and families regarding care updates
  • Ensure documentation and compliance with all school and state healthcare regulations
