Our Perioperative Services department provides full support throughout the duration of a patient's surgical procedure, spanning ward admission, anesthesia, surgery and recovery. Professional care services include identification of the patient’s individual needs, patient care plan development and implementation and the coordination of nursing service to restore each patient’s health before, during and after a surgical procedure.

As the Business Manager, RN, you are responsible for planning, organizing, facilitating, and monitoring the activities and functions of the Perioperative Services business operations. In this role, you will collaborate with the Perioperative Services team to implement and maintain the financial business goals and objectives in alignment with the mission and objectives of Hawai‘i Pacific Health. In this role, you will assure fiscally viable and optimal service delivery in the Perioperative areas. You will also provide leadership and support to ensure achievement of Perioperative Services strategic and operational plans.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or business. Current Hawai‘i RN License. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to all levels or personnel. Knowledge of Surgical Information System (SIS) including OR scheduling and intraoperative record and its applications. Advanced computer skills including, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Analytical skills to gather and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related healthcare field. MBA preferred. Two (2) years' experience in a Perioperative setting with progressive leadership. Knowledge or experience with financial analysis including reports and materials management functions.
