Program Coordinator I: Provider Deployment and Advanced Practice Provider Programs

The Program Coordinator for the Provider Deployment and Advanced Practice Provider Programs is a member of a dynamic team in an oncology setting. The Program Coordinator primarily works under the direction of the Medical Staff Office leaders. This position requires an individual who can contribute to the ongoing success of the programs and is committed to continuous process improvement. A team player with integrity, an ability to shift work priorities quickly, and who can also work independently and collaboratively will be integral to the success of achieving the mission and goals of the program. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization and communication skills (verbal and written), the ability to work in an environment that interfaces with multiple organizations, sites, and stakeholders, be professional, focused, detail-oriented, resourceful, agile, and responsive to program needs. 

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete incoming template change requests for providers in Epic.
• Assists with the management of MD Fellow templates.
• Supports the maintenance of provider roster.
• Administrative support  to APP Program Leadership including calendar management
• Supports onboarding and orientation of new Advanced Practice Providers and APP Fellows
• Organizes and provides support for on-site and virtual APP meetings and lectures
• Supports the maintenance of policies, data tracking, and program documents
• Performs administrative duties including supply orders, IT requests, distributing mail, reimbursement requests, etc.
• Assists with recruitment including interview coordination and preparation of materials
• Actively participates in upholding and increasing program morale and team building
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to review work with attention to detail and accuracy; to think critically about problems
• Ability to work professionally and flexibly in a fast-paced and complex health care environment
• Proficiency in Zoom and MS Office applications including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel required. Experience with Smartsheet is preferred but can be learned on the job.
• Ability to work with initiative, use sound judgement, and prioritize concurrent responsibilities and demands
• Ability to communicate verbally in person, on the phone, and in writing, in a professional, clear, and concise manner
• Demonstrated commitment to integrity and quality in work and in interpersonal communication
• Demonstrated initiative as evidenced by advancing technical skills, sharing knowledge with others, and taking on more responsibility, participating in continual learning.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team as the situation requires, collaborating with multiple organizations, sites, and stakeholders.
• Ability to give and receive feedback, open to discussion on areas of strength and areas for improvement.

Preferred:

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with Epic software
• Two years of work experience in an administrative role (clinical, medical, or hospital environment preferred)

The hourly pay range for this position is from $31.26 to $44.51 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.   Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position. Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance health, well-being, and financial security.
