Responsibilities

  • Administer medications according to physician orders and facility policies.

  • Accurately document medication administration and resident responses.

  • Monitor residents for medication side effects and report concerns promptly.

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.

  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and healthcare team members.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and resident-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Current CMA certification.

  • Active state certification/license as required.

  • Long-term care experience preferred.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Current CPR certification preferred.
