Job details: - Care for labor and delivery, antepartum, mother/baby, and postpartum patients - Experience circulating for C-sections required - Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:00 - No on-call requirements - No holiday or weekend coverage required - No floating to other units required - Patient ratio of 1:3 - Uses Epic charting system Requirements: - Active CA RN license - 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required - Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required - EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring) experience required - AWHONN Intermediate certification required; AWHONN Advanced preferred - Epic charting experience required - Skilled in IV therapy, starting and maintaining IVs, and use of infusion pumps - Experience with labor and delivery management including amnioinfusion, assisting with high-risk and vaginal deliveries, and forceps/vacuum extraction - Skilled in sterile vaginal exams and hemorrhage/shock management - Community hospital experience preferred - Previous charge experience preferred Additional information: - Provide comprehensive nursing care across antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum units - Assist with high-risk deliveries, C-section recovery, and newborn care in the delivery room - Support medication administration including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and antihypertensives as needed - Provide postpartum care including fundus/lochia/perineum assessment and breastfeeding support - Must reside within a 50-mile radius to qualify for local candidate rate - Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before being eligible to return as a traveler - Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract with only 1 holiday request permitted per contract - First-time travelers are not considered for this position

Admissions Registered Nurse participates in the information gathering, analysis, education, and form completion aspects of the admissions process 2.
