Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current LPN licensure with eligibility to practice in the state
  • Previous experience providing 1:1 care, preferably in educational or pediatric settings
  • Experience supporting students at elementary, middle, and high school levels is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing student needs or emergencies
  • Skilled in health assessment, medication administration, and routine nursing procedures
  • Organized and dependable, with excellent documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality 1:1 nursing care to assigned student(s) during the school day
  • Administer medications, monitor health status, and implement physician-ordered care plans
  • Respond promptly to student health emergencies and communicate promptly with school staff and parents/guardians
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all care provided
  • Assist students in participating fully in their educational programs by supporting health and mobility needs as appropriate
  • Promote a safe and supportive environment for learning
