Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and management of acute and chronic health conditions

  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student health plans and accommodations
  • Maintain accurate health records and ensure confidentiality
  • Educate students and staff on health-related issues, including hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention
  • Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care with outside agencies as needed
  • Support campus wellness initiatives and attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) and 504 meetings as a healthcare advocate
