The Opportunity

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you’ll use your clinical expertise, critical thinking, and compassionate approach to deliver exceptional care and help improve outcomes for patients and their families. Qualified candidates will be considered for positions that best align with their experience, interests, and organizational needs. Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.

The Wound Care RN will specialize in assessing and treating skin breakdown and wounds in a clinic setting. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will also be consulted during a patients stay in a hospital for a wound or pressure injury, we are also consulted for ostomy care. The Wound Care RN will also be responsible for determining the proper course of treatment and interacting with services in the community to continually care for the wound care patient.
