Assistant Director of Nursing

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join the leadership team at a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in the Mentor/Lake County area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated RN who is passionate about resident care, staff development, and supporting a positive, team-oriented nursing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations and nursing department oversight.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff.

  • Help ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.

  • Support infection prevention, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives.

  • Assist with staff education, training, and clinical development.

  • Promote high standards of resident care and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Active Ohio RN license required.

  • Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and clinical best practices.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.
