School Registered Nurse (RN) in Jersey City, NJ

This contracted, full-time position is ideal for those passionate about student health and wellness, available to start as soon as possible through June 25, 2027. The role offers 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:15AM to 3:15PM. With four openings across district-wide settings, youll have the chance to make a meaningful impact in multiple school communities. Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey School Nursing RN licensure (required)
• Previous professional experience in a school-based setting is necessary
• Strong knowledge of immunizations and related processes
• Comfortable working within the policies and culture of a school district
• Proven ability to independently manage and service student caseloads
• Capable of overseeing the health needs of entire school buildings
• Reliable transportation and proximity to minimize commute times
• Willingness to disclose background and experience upfront
• Must complete onboarding requirements: TB test, physical, and fingerprinting for both agency and district
• LPN candidates will not be considered for these roles

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive student health services, including first aid, medication administration, and chronic condition management
• Oversee immunization compliance and documentation
• Coordinate care with educators and school administrators to ensure a healthy educational environment
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and advocate for student wellbeing across the district
• Maintain accurate student health records and uphold confidentiality
