Assignment Details:

Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Denton, Texas
Duration: Immediate start through May 27, 2027
School Setting: Elementary education environment
Caseload: 1:1 nursing support for students who utilize ASL

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; LPNs are not eligible for this role
At least five years of hands-on experience managing tracheostomy (trach) care and feeding tubes
Previous experience supporting children or youth who require ASL communication
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Capability to work collaboratively with educational and medical teams in a school setting
Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for students with specialized medical and communication needs

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, compassionate 1:1 nursing care to students during school hours
