The Oncology Clinic RN acts as a patient advocate, educator, and care coordinator for a specific patient population across the continuum of care. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITES Coordinate the multidisciplinary team (physicians, advanced practice nurses and other support staff) approach to connect patients with integrated, comprehensive services, specific to their condition. Work Experience MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma. Work Experience: One (1) year of nursing experience. Registered Nurse - Cardiac Specialty Unit (0.9 FTE, Nights) The Cardiac Specialty Unit is intended to provide a bidirectional capability (step down and step up) for patients whose care needs are not optimally supported by either the CICU or acute care ward. The unit will be comprised of up to 6 Intermediate Care level patients initially, and the remaining 7 beds will hold cardiac surgical or pre transplant acute care status patients.
