Our Hospice Nursing Aides may assist patients' family members in caring for their terminally ill relatives by instructing them on how to go about performing basic health-care routines. Nursing Aides consult on a regular basis with their supervising registered nurses in terms of keeping hospice team members apprised of our patients' progression and the families' needs. Qualifications Must meet one of the following requirements. 1) have a minimum of one year full time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility); 2) have one year experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home health or hospice setting. Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment. Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device. Overview Per-Diem Chemotherapy Definition of Position : As the Chemotherapy Nurse this nurse provides direct and indirect patient services to Chemotherapy patients. He/she will need to efficiently communicate with Chemotherapy Physicians and NPs, Nurse Manager, and Co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition, and policy/procedure updates.
