Your responsibilities may include personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and transfer assistance, medication reminders, meal preparation, feeding assistance, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment. Depending on the client's needs and care plan, you may also provide dementia or Alzheimer's support, respite care, and assistance for clients with higher levels of care. You may assist with transportation or accompany clients to appointments and community activities when applicable.
