Demonstrated ability to provide personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while maintaining client dignity, privacy, and independence. Ability to work independently in a client's home while exercising sound judgment and knowing when to seek assistance from the office or supervisory team. Strong organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete responsibilities accurately and consistently. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients, families, caregivers, and office staff. Ability to recognize and promptly report changes in a client's physical condition, behavior, mood, mobility, appetite, or overall well-being. Ability to recognize potential safety concerns and follow established safety procedures, including reporting unusual events, suspected abuse or neglect, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Ability to use a smartphone, tablet, and our home care management system, ClearCare, for scheduling, timekeeping, documentation, and communication. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships while demonstrating patience, tact, empathy, professionalism, and respect. Must maintain the privacy and confidentiality of client, family, and company information. Must successfully complete required background checks and any other employment screening required by the company or applicable regulations. Must have a valid driver's license, required automobile insurance, and reliable transportation when driving is required for an assigned position. Must successfully complete required company orientation, caregiver training, and ongoing in-service education.
