Job Summary and Qualifications Assists in management of department services by scheduling patients, data entry, clinical and medical support. Ensures an adequate inventory of office and clinic supplies. Accurately files charts and prints laboratory results. Recognizes abnormal vital signs, test results and /or other changes in client’s condition and reports them to NP\PA in a timely manner. Assured all exam and specimen collection instruments are kept clean and ready. The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for providing patient care services, determining medical conditions, and preparing patients for examination and treatment under the direction of the Provider. Certificate/License: Current Certification as a Medical Assistant through one of the following programs is required (RMA, AAMA, NCCT, CMAC, AMCA). Current BLS certification is required.
