Opportunities are available at Care Center Royalton (St. Joseph), Southwestern Medical Clinic (Niles), and our new clinics opening in Bridgman and Dowagiac. As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients seeking treatment for urgent and non-emergency health concerns. Prepares, administers, and documents medications within scope of practice and as directed by the provider. Collects, monitors, and reports patient information and needs to licensed healthcare team members. Maintains accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record. Performs administrative duties to support clinic operations, including appointment-related tasks, patient communication, and maintenance of medical records. Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment and reports equipment concerns or malfunctions to appropriate personnel. Greets and communicates with patients and families in a manner that promotes dignity, respect, and exceptional customer service. Collaborates with providers, clinical staff, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and efficient clinic operations. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Measures and records patient vital signs; records patient interview and medical history.
