Job Summary and Qualifications As a Monitor Technician you will deliver high quality, patient centered care to cardiac patients monitoring for age related arrhythmias and reporting results to the nursing staff. You will provide competent, continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring and interpretation, safe and effective use of equipment. What qualifications you will need: Six months or more of telemetry monitoring experience in an acute care setting preferred. Position Summary The Point of Care Testing Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring institutional compliance with point of care testing regulations established by CLIA, JCAHO, and CAP accreditation agencies. The coordinator has primary responsibility for point of care testing performed outside the main lab. Address and resolve any issues related to point of care laboratory services. Advocate for patient safety and quality care in all laboratory processes.
