Assists physician and RN with endoscopic procedures. 3Assists with specimens according to policy. Performs required maintenance of instruments, supplies and equipment by adhering to cleaning, care, utilizations and sterilization procedures as directed. Notifies supervisor of any malfunction of equipment. Uses and maintains DSD according to manufacturer recommendations. Ensures a clean and tidy work area throughout the scope process. Restocks endoscopy room with designated supplies. The Pre-op Ward Clerk / Unit Secretary: Answers phones, transfers calls, handles requests and takes messages.
